The Chihuahua Club informs you that it is genetically not possible

that two long-haired Chihuahuas produce short-haired puppies.

On the other hand, short-haired Chihuahuas can produce long-haired puppies.

In France, the marriage of short-haired/long-haired Chihuahuas is prohibited.

except by derogation from the Club and under certain conditions.
